I love the way this installation is an immersive experience. When people walk into the lights along the corridor running through the 3000 LEDs of various shapes and sizes, they create ‘negative spaces’. Paradoxically, the material seemed immaterial.

Many people stopped, taking selfies or photos of their friends against the lights. I watched them try over and over, no doubt disappointed with the results; a traditional portrait style photo just wasn’t going to work.
