    I found myself in a small well-appointed apartment in the heart of Brisbane last week. Located on the twenty-sixth floor, so far from the ground, it felt like being imprisoned. No trees, not much colour; concrete, steel and hard lines hemming me in. Another collage series coming on.

    I am feeling particularly energised after an afternoon workshop at QAGOMA (Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art) with Brisbane artist John Honeywill.
