The four kilometre Mount Timbertop hike from the saddle to summit, though steep, rewards the walker with wonderful views on either side of a magnificent stand of Snowgums (Eucalyptus pauciflora). Notes on walking tracks in the area are available from the Mansefield Tourist Information Centre.
