Descending the crevice
The Chalwell Gallery loop from Lake Catani at Mt Buffalo National Park is only 1.7km long but requires some scrambling into tight spaces and climbing down rungs into this crevice. Definitely more easily navigated without a backpack.

A man-made lake constructed in 1910 that supplies hydro electricity for the nearby camping ground, Lake Catani at Mt Buffalo National Park provides perfect conditions for frogs as well as being a pretty spot to stop for a picnic.
