Col and I always look for little jewels like York’s Museum Gardens that are contained within an urban environment.

I love the Storytelling place surrounded by trees, with its very own rustic gates, partially open, welcoming visitors.

When I was a child, I imagined that secret places surrounded by trees were fairy copses. Even as an adult, I enter them with a feeling of reverie. Today though I quietly passed by, unnoticed, as a family with a young child enjoyed the space.
