I took this photo today of an evocative and well composed photo taken by French photographer Marcelin Flandrin c1920 at the Maison de la Photographic de Marrakech.
An unexpected addition is the coloured reflection of the stained glass window that seems to mirror the shapes in the black and white photo.
For history or photography enthusiasts, this small Museum with a rooftop terrace for coffee is a must. There are some arresting portraits.
On the rooftop terrace, you will see the same woven bamboo shade covering that gives such dramatic patterning to the photos taken in the Medina in bygone days.
