Art works created using pieces of plastic and objects that have washed up on the beach to bring attention to the pollution of our oceans.

Rubbish Art

I’m doing a few more pieces of rubbish art. It’s a fun way to draw attention to something serious; how plastics pollute our oceans. During Noosa Open Studios, in a corner of the studio (aka garage) I’ll display my rubbish collection.

There is too much anxiety and dispair in the world. Sometimes being creative can alleviate the heaviness. The reality is that feeling defeated doesn’t solve problems, changing behaviour does.

I hope that my rubbish art will start some conversations.
