Farewell Edinburgh: back to the drawing board

There’s always time for one last photo when you’re waiting to catch a tram to the airport. These three Billboards erected on the corner of St Andrews Square in the Newtown, Edinburgh caught my eye on our final day in the United Kingdom. Featuring rubbish jokes and an Aussie performer at the Festival they somehow seemed a fitting farewell.

Yes, I know I’m strange.

Now I’m home, looking at my art practice with fresh eyes. There’s new energy, a redesigned webpage, heralding the beginning of the next chapter. I’m excited!

The focus of my blogs will shift a towards art – what I’m doing now – but there’s plenty in the travel department that I want to write about too. There’s certainly room for overlap: Experiencing travel through an artist’s eye.

So stay posted.
