Don Milner did this little palette knife painting as a demo for Annie. I love the complimentary colours, applied over the thick white paint that provides a base on which to manipulate the orange and grey. There is the considered placement of the strongest colour elements, and the small splashes the same colours, slightly toned down, that complete a triangular form central to the composition. All this embedded in the rectangular motif, and painted in less than 15 minutes. Thank you Don for all the great learning in this piece.
